Table Encore is a personal restaurant meal journal. Log what you order, rate it, and the next time you walk into that restaurant the answer is already on screen — the dishes, the ratings, the notes. Zero taps.
Great meals fade fast. Six months later, all you remember is "something with the short ribs… or was that the other place?" Table Encore keeps the answer one glance away.
Sit down and tap Log a meal. At a place you've saved, Table Encore asks "Back at Franklin Barbecue?" — one tap and you're in. Somewhere new? Premium subscribers pick it from a list of the restaurants around them; everyone gets the city prefilled. Then add your dishes — or, with Premium, scan the receipt and let them prefill themselves.
Two quick 1–5 ratings — how satisfying and how enjoyable — plus optional price, notes, and who at the table ordered it.
Open the Here screen at the door and your last visit appears instantly: every dish, every rating, grouped per diner. Order the encore, or dodge the dud.
Not a review platform, not a social feed — a private journal that answers one question fast: what did I have here, and did I like it?
The Here screen matches your position against restaurants you've saved and shows your last visit the moment you open the app. No searching, no scrolling.
"Back at Franklin Barbecue?" — a saved place is one tap; several nearby become a short list. New places get their city prefilled from an on-device lookup. Logging later, from the couch? Flip "Not logging from here" and skip location altogether.
Two separate 1–5 scales — satisfaction and enjoyment — because "technically excellent" and "I'd order it again tomorrow" are different things.
Tag each dish with who ordered it, autocompleted from past visits. Next time you'll know what your partner loved, not just what you had.
Snap a photo with any dish and it travels with the memory — a thumbnail on the dish card, tap for full screen. Because "the pasta thing" has a face.
Logging a new place? Pick it from a list of the restaurants around you instead of typing the name — nearest first, with street addresses. It's opt-in: the app asks before your location goes to Apple Maps or Google Maps, and "Not listed" always falls back to typing.
Scan a menu once and that restaurant's dishes autocomplete forever after, prices included. Scan the bill and your dishes prefill themselves. All on-device — no photo is stored, nothing leaves your phone.
Every restaurant you've saved in the city you're in, with the last visit date and the best and worst dish — perfect for "where should we go tonight?"
Browse and search every visit you've logged. Edit dishes and notes, fix a rating, delete a visit — or share one, photos included, straight from the detail screen.
No account required, works fully offline, and your data is yours to take: export the whole journal as JSON anytime. The only network features are optional and Premium: backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive, never our servers, and the nearby-restaurant lookup, which asks first.
Table Encore is free for up to 5 saved restaurants — and the app always shows you exactly where you stand ("2 of 5 free restaurants used"). A one-time unlock removes the limit forever; the Premium subscription adds menu & receipt scanning, "Find restaurants near me" and cloud backup, and includes Unlimited.
Your existing data is never held hostage: viewing, editing, and logging visits at saved places stay free forever — only adding restaurant #6 asks for the unlock. Premium covers the three subscriber features — scanning, "Find restaurants near me" and Backup & sync — and includes everything Unlimited does; the core journal is yours without paying a cent.
Where you eat, who you eat with, and what you spend paints a detailed picture of your life. Table Encore keeps that picture on your device — the app has no accounts, no analytics, and makes no network calls, with two exceptions you control: the optional Premium backup, which goes straight from your phone to your own iCloud or Google Drive, and the optional Premium "Find restaurants near me" lookup, which asks Apple Maps or Google Maps what's around you when you log a new place.
